As a resident of Naramata, I can tell you with absolute certainty that this place has a unique quality you cannot find anywhere else. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else, and I count myself lucky to be a part of something so special.
Living amongst the rolling vineyards and orchards, gazing out peacefully across the lake, watching the wildlife pass by my window… there is nothing quite like it.

Why Naramata?
KVR Trail
The Kettle Valley Railroad Trail is a hot spot for locals to stretch their feet, take the dogs for a walk, and take a look out high-up over Naramata. With views spanning from Skaha Lake all the way to Peachland, the KVR Trail is something our residents cherish in their day-to-day lives!
A little over 20km, you can travel to Kelowna or Penticton, stop in at your favorite winery, or take a short break to enjoy the scenery and snap a photo for your friends. One of the most popular stops along the trail, Little Tunnel is the perfect scenic spot for a picnic with family and friends.
Three Blind Mice Trails
Besides the KVR Trail, there are several other hiking trails within the area to satisfy our outdoor enthusiasts. The Three Blind Mice area boasts some of the gorgeous greenery, rock bluffs, and local wildlife that create a beautiful backdrop to a perfect Okanagan day.
Best Wineries
How many wineries do you think there are in Naramata? As this is written, there are currently 30+ wineries in Naramata, stocked full of some of the best wines that Canada has to offer. The wineries that occupy the Naramata Bench bring in tourists worldwide, and it is truly a unique part of our home. I don’t know what we would do without it. Our wine industry supports our community in ways that will determine the future face of the Okanagan.

You might be surprised to learn that aside from some of the best wineries in Canada, the Naramata Bench features a few distilleries and cider producers that are well worth a trip.
With the likes of Legends Distilling and Maple Leaf Spirits, you’ll be dreaming of delicious cocktails in no time. And let’s not forget to mention Creek & Gully Cider and La Petite Abeille Cider, who continue to bring the best fruits of the Naramata Bench to the table in a lip-smacking fashion.
